Michelle S. Frankland, CPA, CVA
Michelle joined the firm in 1999 and was admitted as a member in 2003. A 1992 graduate of Central Connecticut State University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting she came to the firm after seven years of experience in public accounting firms.
She is responsible for the management, planning and supervision of accounting, audit, and tax work for a variety of closely held businesses including but not limited to professional practices of doctors and attorneys, manufacturers, restaurants, construction contractors, and homeowners associations. In addition, she is active in servicing a large number of individual income tax clients.
Michelle believes in the value of relationships. She is committed to providing close, personal attention to her clients.
Michelle's professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Michelle is a cerified member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). NACVA is a professional association that is dedicated to the most professional standards in the field of business valuation and consulting. In addition, she is a 2004 graduate of the Northwest Connecticut Chamber's Leadership Northwest Program and a co-founder of the Northwest Silent Servant Award which recognizes those in the community who give of their time and talents.
