Debra joined the firm in 2001 and was admitted as a member in 2003. A 1986 summa cum laude graduate of Western Connecticut State University where she received her Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Accounting, she received numerous academic awards from the University and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. She ranked first in her class at the Ancell School of Business. She came to the firm after fifteen years of experience in public accounting firms and private industry.
She provides audit and accounting services to a variety of industries including but not limited to manufacturers, employee benefit and welfare plans, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, governmental entities, restaurants, construction contractors, wholesalers, retailers, consultants, personal service corporations (attorneys and doctors), and homeowners associations. She also performs litigation support services. In addition, she is active in servicing a large individual and corporate income tax practice.
Debra is committed to the welfare of her clients. She greatly enjoys the relationships with her clients that develop through personalized attention and concern for their financial affairs.
She is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has served on the Accounting and Reporting Standards Committee and the Manufacturing Committee of The Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Debra enjoys all styles of music, reading, traveling, attending fairs, sport fishing, dog showing and Harley riding with her husband, Alexander. She belongs to several regional and national dog and motorcycle enthusiast clubs. |
