Debra L. Kenneson, CPA

Debra rejoined the firm in 2002 and became a member in 2008.  Deb has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Connecticut with over twenty years in public accounting.

She provides accounting, auditing, tax, management advisory and other related services to individuals and business clients in a variety of industries including art organizations, consultants, financial institutions, homeowner associations, non-profit organizations, private foundations and retailers.  Deb oversees the firm’s trust, estate and probate practice working with individuals, attorney’s offices and bank trust officers.  Deb has oversight responsibility for the firm’s internal processes, personnel, payroll, quality control and auditing.

Deb is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA).  Deb served on the CSCPA continuing professional education committee for a number of years.  She is a former adjunct accounting instructor for the University of Connecticut.  A 2005 graduate of the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Northwest Program, Deb served as an advisor of the leadership program for many years.

Deb is an active community leader currently serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for both the Northwest Connecticut Association for the Arts, Inc. (The Warner Theatre) and the Northwest Connecticut Chamber Education Foundation Incorporation and has served in various capacities for numerous other non-profits over the years.
